Between 8:14 am and 7:32 pm, the group considered nine places, two polls and a menu sent upside down. The back table at Paco's had been free since morning.
It all starts with an innocent message from Nacho: "Where are we eating after the ride?" Fifteen seconds later, Sergio suggests "the new place by the harbor". The new place by the harbor is closed on Sundays. Nobody checks until 11.
At 9:40, Carlos launches a four-option poll. Toni votes for a fifth option, by message, which in Carlos's eyes invalidates the poll. A second poll is opened. It is won by "don't mind", with three votes, which wasn't an option.
By 5 pm the debate has moved on to whether the restaurant should have a terrace, a television, or both. At 6:20 Sergio sends a photo of a menu, taken upside down. At 7:31 Nacho writes: "So… Paco's?" Seven thumbs up in forty seconds.
Reached by phone, Paco hadn't followed the debate. He had added a chair.
