A parody site

The newspapers, diplomas and wanted posters are parodies. The events are made up. The names are the ones visitors type, and visitors use them at their own responsibility and with respect for the people involved.

Not affiliated with any real media outlet, bike race, government body or academy. The brands in the fake ads are the names typed by visitors.

Your data

No account, no form, no cookies.
Names and photos: they are processed only in your browser. They are never sent to our server and disappear when you close the page.
WhatsApp button: the image or PDF is made on your phone, then the share menu opens. You choose who gets it; WhatsApp’s own rules then apply. On a computer, the file simply downloads.
Visit statistics: an in-house tool, hosted by OVH, with no cookies. It records the page viewed, the site you came from, device and browser type, language, time spent, buttons used (never message text or names) and an approximate location (country, city) based on a truncated IP address. The full IP address is never stored.
Retention: statistics are deleted automatically after 25 months.
Sharing: this data is never sold or passed on to anyone.
Fonts: hosted on this site. No calls to Google or any other outside service.

Statistics rely on the legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is used (GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)). You can ask for access to your data, its deletion, or object to it by writing to contact@locallegend.xyz. You can also contact the data protection authority of your country (in Spain, the AEPD).

Ownership

The texts, logos and illustrations of Local Legend are protected. What you make is yours for personal use: share it with your group as much as you like.
